A few pics from Ft. Drum

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and if you didn't have your love one's there with you, I at least hope you had the chance to talk to them.
We spent the morning on web cam visiting with Chris and celebrating Christmas. And I was able to snag these pictures from his myspace page.
Christmas was different here this year with several key people missing but we managed to make the most of it and when all was said and done it was a good day and we made it through it.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

He doesn't look cold at all with all the snow there. Guess not since he's a tough Cav Scout now.

Gotta love that weather out there. While driving home, my son called me and told me that they had to close the base down and the reports were Ft. Drum received 11 inches of snow in 3 hours. yikes While CA is warmer, it's been pretty cold this winter even by CA standards.

Merry Christmas AAM and to yours.

tami...woo-hoo...you survived your first Christmas! It is different, but survivable (is that a word?)
May God bless you in this new year!

I am so happy that you survived your first Christmas without Chris with you. This weather is causing havoc all over. Shay and I have started using Skype just so I can see her face (and her room) while we talk. It is so funny when she talks to the dogs. Molly tilts her head and looks at the screen. She got up on the counter and looked behind the monitor. It was so funny.

As you survive your first Christmas without Chris our family was fortunate to have our soldier home. My heart goes out to you as been there, done that, and bought the T-shirt. No fun! All I can say is it will make the ones he is home with you even more special.

God Bless you and him.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
